Upcoming Events

City of Memphis General Election

Begins: 4/20/2026
Ends: 5/2/2026

The City of Memphis General Election will be on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

Early Voting will be on Monday, April 20th, April 22nd to April 24th, April 27th and April 28th at the Hall County Courthouse Annex 101 S 9th Street from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Election Day Voting will be at the Memphis Community Center 721 W Robertson Street from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The following candidates will be on the ballot:

  • Ward 1 - Melissa Hibbitts and Victor L. Flores
  • Ward 3 - Jill Cromwell and Micah Casas

There will not be an election for the following as they are unopposed:

  • Ward 2 - No Candidate (current is Lloyd Roberts)
  • Ward 4 - Winfred McQueen
  • Mayor - Joe Davis

Annual Memphis Little Theatre Dinner

Begins: 4/25/2026
Ends: 4/25/2026

The Memphis Little Theatre will be hosting their annual dinner theatre on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Memphis Community Center. For more information or to purchase tickets, contact Hailey Davis at 940-585-1383 or any Little Theatre member.

Special City Council Meeting

Begins: 4/27/2026 - 6:00 p.m.
Ends: 4/27/2026 - Till Over

The Memphis City Council will have a Special City Council meeting in the Council Room at Memphis City Hall, 721 W Robertson starting at 6:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend. Agenda will be posted by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

Park Opener

Begins: 5/8/2026 - 6:00 p.m.
Ends: 5/8/2026 - Till Over

The Memphis Lions Club will have their 70th Annual Park Opener on Friday, May 8th at the Memphis City Park at 6:00 p.m. They will have jumbo barbecured hamburgers, ranch style beans, & iced tea. Regular City Council Meeting

Begins: 5/11/2026 - 6:00 p.m.
Ends: 5/11/2026 - Till Business is over
