May 4, 2024 General & Special Election
The May 4, 2024 General Election will be for the position of Mayor and four Alderman, one from each Ward.
There will also be a Special Election to fill a one year unexpired term in Ward 1.
Memphis is a General Law Type A city with the Mayor and each Alderman serving a two year term.
The period for filing for office begins Wednesday, January 17, 2024 and ends February 16, 2024.
