The May 2, 2026 General Election will be for the position of Mayor and four Alderman, one from each ward.
- Memphis is a General Law Type A city with the Mayor and each Alderman serving a two year term.
- The period for filing for office begins Wednesday, January 14, 2026 and ends February 13, 2026.
